HUBUNGAN MINAT MENULIS, INTENSITAS LATIHAN, DAN KETERSEDIAAN SUMBER BELAJAR

TL;DRAbstract

This study is aimed at finding: (1) the correlation between writing interest and students’ argumentative writing performance; (2) the correlation of training intensity with students argumentative writing performance; (3) the correlation between availability of resources  and  students’ argumentative  writing performance.The sample of the research was 41 students at the first semester of English education program in STAIN Jurai Siwo Metro. The results of the research showed that: (1) there is a significant relationship between students’ writing interest and the students’ argumentative writing performance with a correlation of coefficient 0.728 or 53.0%;  (2)  there  is  a positive and significant relationship between training intensity and the students’ argumentative writing performance with the correlation of coefficient 0.734 or 53.9%; (3) there is a significantly positive relationship between the availability of learning resources and the students’ argumentative wr
