TL;DRAbstract

This research aimed to analyze the information needs of users of the Library of Centro Cultural Banco do Brasil of the Federal District, including comparisons with the library of the Center Cultural Banco do Brasil of Rio de Janeiro.The universe was formed by 10,366 employees, blended in various areas of work of the Bank of Brazil and the sample was 56 persons.The data collection took place through a questionnaire and analysis in a quantitative and qualitative approaches.The results show that there are fewer users than non-users.The service most used is the loan.Conclude that the informational needs are varied, given the diversity of training and areas of expertise of officials of the institution.
