TL;DRAbstract
The implementation of the revised Polish Classification of Activities (PKD) 2007 evoked a number of modifications, both in statistics as well as in the economic practice, which caused certain consequences for the participants of this process (i.a. statistical data users, economic entities). The aim of this article is to inform of sophisticated performance process as well as modifications made and their consequences. The paper clarifies the reasons of implementing changes and indicates actions which have been accomplished during the following stages of the PKD 2007 implementation process as well as informs on problems related with the operation. The article also describes the consequences of the introduction of new classification in statistics and these areas of economic life where the Classification of Activities is applicable.
