TL;DRAbstract

Jesus lived among men; his preaching took place in cities and small villages, from Galilee, Perea and Judea until finishing in jerusalem. Nevertheless, in order to know mystery of his identity and mission, Evangelist Mathew sends us to a place out of everyday life: the mountain - a reason that in tbe first Gospel goes beyond geographical information and in light of Old Testament acquires a deep theological symbolism. In the mountain true identity of Jesus (the Son of God) and saving nature of his mission are revealed; this place of intimacy with Father allows to grasp these realities in their deep sense.
