TL;DRAbstract

ABSTRACT The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the strategy of quality control! in P. Besi Semarang. Although the management of PT Raja Besi Semarang has determined the maximum defect for 2 percent, but the defect is more than that. The over defect made the production is less effective which loosing both the customer and the cooperation. Doing the research in over defect it is needed to search about the perception of production division workers about their quality, their commitment toward quality, and the quality control for pipes production. The number of sample for thie research is 90 people while the sample for examination of the product is 5000 pipe a day. Data are primary and secondary and the data measurement to discuss about the workers commitment toward quality and the perception of the workers toward quality uses basic score for each worker. The instrument for quality control for pipes production uses pareto diagram, bone-fish diagram, and P-chart. The finding of the
