Key word: teaching and learning speaking The term of language is defined as a system of sound of words and grammatical structure. English teaching should include four English skills they are: reading, writing, listening and speaking, but speaking skill has a prominent place in language programs around the world today. Learners often evaluate their success in language learning as well as the effectiveness of their English course on the basis of how much they feel they have improved in their spoken language proficiency. In some situation, lecturer use speaking to teach the learners, to give instructions or to get things done. Learning to speak a foreign language requires the ability to use the language appropriately in social interaction. Speaking ability is described as the ability to express oneself in one situation or the ability to report acts to express a sequence of ideas fluently.
