TL;DRAbstract

This Research tries to analyze the construction of ASEAN political Security Community by using constructivist approach. The Constructivist Approach provides theoretical framework beyond material base to explore transformative idea in creating APSC. The expansion of the CSO (Civil Society Organization) in the region responds to regional mechanism changes and thereby contributes to promote regional mechanism, regional stability and peace. The CSO also contributes to transform the idea that change intersubjective factor and state practice in the sense of changing internal and external environment. After Economic crisis and terrorism problem, there are shift of regional norm that construct regional identity beyond the ASEAN way. Adoption of universal norm indicates shifting paradigm of regional norm that construct regional identity.
